New to Massage?

To help ease the stress of a "first massage" please read the following information:

  1. Hygiene is important, for this reason fresh linens are provided for each client.
  2. Your massage will be performed in a professional manner and your modesty will be preserved at all times:
    -Only the body part being worked on will be exposed
    -Only one body part at a time will be exposed
  3. Undress to your comfort level; this is your moment to relax and your comfort is important. Most commonly everything except boxers or panties is removed.
  4. Jewelry should be removed prior to your massage and longer hair should be pulled up to avoid getting oily
  5. If the pressure used by the therapist is too firm or too soft; please notify your therapist immediately so that the pressure can be adjusted to your liking.
  6. It is important to drink plenty of water (at least 16 ounces) both before and after your massage as this will eliminate the toxins released during your treatment.
  7. If you experience mild discomfort within the first 24 hours after your massage, this is most likely due to an excessive release of toxins. A warm Epsom salt bath will in assist in alleviating the discomfort.
